faithful craft texture pack

I am just making this quick post on a texture pack that I found that is freaking awesome!
It’s called faithful craft

This is now one of my favorite minecraft texture packs! The reason behind it being called faithful craft is because it sticks to the true colors of minecraft while still making it look awesome!

The only problems I have seen with this texture pack is the fact that nether rack looks like water and that nether portals look like water.

Also if you throw anything into the lava it comes up with this fire text that you can see in the picture.
Even with the few problems that I listed, this is still a great texture pack and you should defiantly download this and unlike most HQ minecraft fonts this one doesn’t require a patcher which is awesome because you never want to deal with those patchers . With that being said I also noted some lag after I installed the texture pack nothing to big but if you want minecraft to stay lag free you may want to turn the video settings down just a tad.

minecraft animal breeding

This post is going all about animal breading in minecraft. Breeding first started in minecraft 1.9 pre release 2. Now I don’t know about you but I think releasing a pre release is really odd. Think of it this way, minecraft is in beta right? A beta is a pre release of a game, so really they are making pre releases for a pre release! What is this mineception?
Any ways now that I am done ******** about that lets talk about animal breeding. Notch said that as of minecraft update 1.8 animals no longer spawn into the game! So once your animals are gone there gone, but since you have to eat to survive he had to add some sort of animal breeding system, and that’s exactly what he did.

It is really simple, all you do is take some wheat two animals of the same kind and then right click them and they will come together like they are in the picture and spit out a tiny version of themselves. It takes about 5 minutes after you bread to animals for them to be able to breed again, and it takes around 20 minutes until the baby is ready to bread with the other animals.
To get the animals into a designated breeding area you are going to have to use the wheat, don’t right click them with the wheat just have it in your hands and if you stay near them long enough they will eventually start to follow you, and once they are following you it is easy to make them go into a designated area.
The only problem I see with this is: LAG! What is going to happen if you have let’s say; 50 pigs, 50 cows, and 50 chickens, that is 150 animals all moving around, I haven’t tried making 150 animals but I have used single player commands and I know when you put that many animals into the game it’s going to lag, but with that being said notch has improved the lag with the tnt so maybe it will be able to handle this without lagging too much.

Minecraft 1.9 pre release review

So about a week or so ago minecraft developer jeb leaked minecraft 1.9 pre release. Of course I downloaded it and here is the download link for you: (http://twitter.com/#!/jeb_/status/119395358135693312) so if for some reason you haven't played it or if you have been playing it and wanted to know whats up I made this post just for you! So I am first just going to go over a few big things that I noticed while playing.
So one of the biggest things is the upgrade to the nether

By the way to keep this blog fun to read and exciting, I am going to throw pictures on my blog as a reference and because they make the blog look smexy.
So now pigs drop rotting flesh and golden nuggets, which at first they looked like teeth. There only use currently is to make a golden ingots. It takes a full crafting bench to make one golden ingot which is 9 golden nuggets. Another part of the nether is this little puppy

It isn't really anything new or exciting it is just a slime that is on fire and doesn't make a perverted sound when it jumps. Another mob that is in the nether is called: blaze and it looks a little something like this

Wright now it drops blaze rods which just looks like a golden stick, and just like a lot of the other items in 1.9 it doesn't have a use, but I believe that the new items will be used for new weapons, which will be freaking awesome! New weapons on top of the new combat, creepers better recognize!
So since we are on the topic of the nether lets talk about nether strong holds! Like other strong holds they are randomly generated through out the map and have some chests some spawners and some NETHER WART?! What the $## is a nether wart?

Looks nasty doesn't it! Wright now it has no use other then grossing me out it requires soul sand to grow and can grow outside of the nether.
The next thing about the nether is that ghasts now drop tears. That's wright they drop tears, like the other items it currently has no use but is expected to be used as some sort of weapon! Also just as a side note you can now make nether brick and nether fence and nether posts.
That is pretty much all there is to the nether, now lets talk about new biomes there is the swamp biome and the mushroom biome. The mushroom biome is pretty awesome you have your mushroom cows:

now there is a few things to note with the mushroom cows 1. They can be sheered, once they are sheered they got back to a normal cow and three red mushrooms fall off his back 2. If you right click a bowl of soup over them (when they still have mushrooms on them) You get mushroom soup! Notch or whoever thought of this is awesome! Its freaking mushroom soup coming out of a cow! Here is the over all look of the mushroom biome:

They have new looking dirt (which is still the same when you break it) as well as giant mushrooms. That is all there is to the mushroom biomes.
Now lets talk about the NPC's! Now I am sure everybody is freaking stoked about npc's and how it will change the game and everything. Let me just say: They are lame! I certainly hope that once 1.9 actually comes out they are better. Here is one of the reasons I don't like them

See what I mean, and on top of that they don't really don't do anything, I guess the only thing there good for right now is to terrorise. I really hope notch makes them better because right now they look like crap!
Now lets talk about snow golems, first impressions..... There freaking awesome! It takes two blocks of snow and a pumpkin on top and then they turn into this!

These are more useful then you may think. It can be made from items in your pockets, and its a great decoy for any mobs that are coming after you, even if all it does is throw snow balls at them, once there destroyed snow balls fall out of them which can be used to construct more, so just start planting those pumpkins!
A small but very annoying thing about 1.9 release date is that you can no longer hold down space bar to jump! D: it may not sound all that bad until you go to climb up stairs from your mine shaft.
Over all I like minecraft 1.9 I think it will be great, and I hope to see you on a multiplayer server soon!

My mob trap

I made an epic mob trap in minecraft it took me about two weeks and it is epic to say the least.
I used epic meal times music because it's awesome

The blog I started a couple of days ago

Minecraft is awesome so I started a blog just for minecraft content it will be updated at least once a day if not twice a day so make sure to subscribe to the rss feed.
